We have a terrific and safely screened environment for your children. We think our kids’ programs are second to none in practical and fun ways as they learn about God. Warning though: if you don’t regularly attend Venue and come once, your kids might make you come back!

Newborns – grade 6 are in classrooms for their own Worship Experience on site.
Grades 7 and up are in the Auditorium.
We’ve done our absolute best to engage all ages with Christ in distraction-free environments. We do this by providing kids-areas without uncool parents and adults-areas without wiggly kids.
We also provide a family viewing area in the lobby for parents that need to stay with their children. As well, we have a nursing mom’s room, with a live feed of the auditorium.

If you’re planning on visiting Venue, you can pre-register your children ahead of time to speed up the check in process on Sunday morning! Just let us know at Check In.

Who wouldn’t want to be part of our Minis class? It’s a joyful, high energy place where kids laugh, learn and grow together! We sing fun worship songs, hear exciting Bible stories, make crafts, play games and enjoy time with friends. Best of all, kids get to learn about Jesus and God’s love in ways they can understand while having tons of fun along the way!
Kiddos (Grades K-1) & Bigs (Grades 2-4)
Our Kiddos & Bigs classes start together for free play time and then separate for the worship, lesson and prayer time.
In our Kiddos and Bigs classes, we are intentional about helping kids build strong friendships while growing in their understanding of who their Heavenly Father is. Each week, they enjoy a fun and engaging worship experience created just for them! We teach straight from the Bible, not just as a story but as the living Word of God and help kids see how it applies to their lives today. Through small group time, children feel seen, known and loved as they pray with their Leaders and friends in a safe and encouraging environment growing in their desire for a closer relationship with God.
JY Kids (Grades 5-6)
JY is designed to help kids take the next step in their faith as they prepare for the transition to an adult church service. We offer a deeper dive into God’s Word, encouraging questions, taking notes, and discussion into who God is. As well as applying God’s truth in their own lives. Our kids are learning to pray with a heart of gratitude and need, while also praying for each other.
Once a month, our kids will also have the opportunity to join the adult worship service with their Class Lead where we are believing for confidence and connection as they prepare to join the larger church family.
FAQ’s
Our goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for your children! We have a well-trained, background-checked team of kids workers who ensure that your children are in safe and positive environments. If we do not have a background check for a volunteer, we will not allow them into any kids spaces.
If there are any issues you need to be aware of, we contact you directly on your phone during the service so you don’t need to wonder if they’re ok.
Yes! If you come a few minutes early one of our kids’ volunteers would be more than happy to show you the classroom and all that we do to ensure their safety and comfort!

For families who will be at multiple services when they’re volunteering, we offer our Kids Lounge! Kids will go to their regular class first and then attend the Volunteer Kids Lounge where they have special activities planned to keep them busy and can build friendships with other volunteer families!
